Team Lead - Karlup Service Ruah is proud to be developing the Karlup Service, a holistic, wraparound recovery-based model aimed at supporting women and children to heal from family and domestic violence. The Karlup Service will provide a range of offerings from the Ruah Centre for Women and Children (RCWC), a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility in Perth's CBD.
The Team Lead position is an important operational and leadership role responsible for supporting the Service Lead to effectively manage the Karlup Service. The Team Lead will provide leadership to a range of professionals across the Karlup Service, ensuring the cultural and trauma informed delivery of an efficient and seamless end to end recovery service for women and children.
To be successful in this role you will be expected to apply your personal drive, professional experience and exemplary conduct to build and sustain a high performing team that effectively responds to client needs, in line with the Karlup Service model of care.
What we're looking for The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
Relevant qualifications in a related discipline at degree, diploma or certificate level (e.g. Social Work, Counselling or Psychology) and/or significant work experience with family and domestic violence. Knowledge and expertise in current and emerging issues of family and domestic violence. Knowledge and experience working in a clinical case management setting. Experience in reflective leadership practice and the management of teams and a diverse range of staff. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders and ensure strong community sector engagement. The following criteria are considered desirable:
Knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion including gender, sexuality, disability, age, cultural and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture. What do we offer?
