The Library serves 3 million in-person visitors and 20 million online interactions a year and features world-class collections, services, and facilities.
The Team Coordinator, Library Learning Services plays a crucial role in leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality information and referral services to the University community.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Library Experience, this position oversees a small team, ensuring exceptional service and support for clients.
Who You Are: The ideal candidate will have skills and experience as follows:
A degree from a higher education institution, with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience.Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality, efficient, and effective client services.Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and motivating teams.Demonstrated experience in exercising initiative, judgment, and decision-making within a multi-tasking role with overlapping priorities and deadlines.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise and communicate regulatory requirements to all staff.Demonstrated interpersonal and professional skills, including the ability to engage positively and maturely with clients.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays and to work at different campuses as required.An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.Knowledge of health & safety (psychosocial and physical) responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.Within your application, you should include a cover letter addressing the following role priorities:
