This is a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our office while providing essential support in a varied and collaborative environment.As the Team Administrator, Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing front-line reception services, general office administration, consular support, and finance-related tasks. This is a full-time permanent position, and you will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to ensure that the High Commission's operations run smoothly.What You'll Do:Manage phone calls, greet visitors, and respond to general email enquiries.Assist with general finance administration tasks, set up suppliers, process invoices and purchase orders.Maintain the reception area and ensure that essential information and materials are stocked.Coordinate office bookings, manage mail, and assist with general administrative tasks.Provide back-up support during peak periods or staff absences.The ideal candidate will be available to commence duties in early January. The successful applicant will be employed on local terms and conditions and must have the right to work in Australia. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate New Zealand Government Security Clearance.Minimum Requirements:At least 3 years' experience in a front-facing administrative or receptionist role.Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact with diverse groups.Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.A customer-focused approach and a team-oriented attitude.If you want to contribute to New Zealand's success in Australia, we'd love to hear from you!
