As our next Carbonite, you'll be joining a team at multiple levels. You'll be part of a team in your office, working with other talented people such as yourself. Job DescriptionAbout the role. Our Accounting Partners are looking for a Team Administrator who can focus on delivering outstanding client service, timely completion of work, and efficiency in operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a tax practice and understand the flow of accounting work, the need to follow up clients, deadlines attributable to tax work, and the importance of database integrity and overall practice management.
This is a full-time, office-based role in our vibrant Osborne Park office (think beer taps, a fully-stocked drinks fridge, a pool table, Mario Kart, and the best bunch of Carbonites as your new colleagues).
Your daily activities will include (but aren't limited to): Processing ATO Mate mail on a daily basis and liaising with relevant Client Manager if any issues arise.Arranging client meetings on behalf of Partners and Accountants.Providing diary management assistance to Partners.Preparing Engagement Proposals and sending them to clients.Responding to client queries both via email and phone call.Updating client records across the various programmes when required.Scanning client corporate records into SuiteFiles.Completing Admin checks and marking Tax and BAS jobs in.Completing photocopying, scanning, and archiving in a timely manner.Keeping databases up-to-date including XPM, Ignition, ASIC, ATO, and Xero.Completing client TFN and ABN registrations as required.Providing assistance to colleagues regarding NowInfinity.Assisting with annual job and proposal rollovers in XPM and Ignition.Liaising with ATO and ASIC and regularly following up when transferring clients from an acquired business to Carbon.Assisting with other admin and project work where required.You'll be perfect for the role if: You love a bit of team banter and activities.You want to be part of the coolest firm in Australia.You're keen to join a company that encourages you to define your own career path.Desired Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for someone with: A minimum of four years experience in an administration role in a professional office, ideally in an accounting environment.A positive and proactive mindset.Ability to follow processes and procedures.An outgoing personality and a sense of humour.Strong written and verbal communication abilities, confident in-person and phone communication.Capacity to manage workflow priorities and perform effectively under pressure.Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within the Administration Team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications - ideally experience with XPM, Xero, Suitefiles, NowInfinity, Class, and Ignition.Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering relationships internally and externally.Maintain strict confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail.Ready to apply?
