Moree Christian School is a rural school located in the North-West of New South Wales. With 100 students and the plan to move to Stage 6 in 2025, we are praying and expecting growth in enrolment numbers. We are currently seeking both a Primary Teacher and Secondary Teacher in a Full Time or Part Time capacity. We seek to support our teachers with up-to-date Professional Development and support, and so flexibility of teaching load is offered for the right candidate. Starting date to be negotiated with a successful applicant. We welcome applications from students in their final year of teacher training and/or graduate teachers, offering a mentoring program and Embedded Teacher Training.

TEACHERS Be a qualified teacher and have knowledge and understanding of NESA syllabus documents. Be an effective practitioner for your stage of development, demonstrating the ability to effectively implement teaching programs in the required fields and cater for student differences. Demonstrate skill and understanding in differentiating the curriculum and making adjustments to cater for a wide range of learning needs and ability levels. Demonstrate competence in the assessment of student learning against the NESA Common Grade Scale. Utilise a variety of proactive and reactive management techniques to establish a safe, settled, and supportive learning environment where children are nurtured to reach their God-given potential. Work in partnership with staff and parents to ensure that students are well supported academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually, at their stage of development.
