We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our Junior School. Our school promotes inclusive practice and we recognise that students vary in their cognitive abilities and academic achievement levels at any given time. Our approach is inclusive with the student at the centre of everything we do to help ignite their potential.
This position will provide learning support to students with specific learning needs. The minimum qualification requirement is Certificate III in Education Support.
This role includes:
Working with students who require substantial support to access the curriculum, learning activities and assessments through assistance in the classroom, in small groups and individually.Working collaboratively with subject/classroom teachers on the implementation of Personalised Education PlansAn ability to attend a range of off-site activities including camps, excursions, school sporting events to support specific students.To Apply: Please include a cover letter as the first page of your resume.
