The Opportunity Awaits Nyangatjatjara Aboriginal College (NAC) is currently seeking immediate starters as well as candidates for 2025 opportunities for teaching positions: Early Childhood Teachers Primary Teachers Secondary Teachers As part of our teaching team, you'll be delivering engaging and culturally relevant lessons to remote Aboriginal students , and you'll have the chance to directly influence their educational journey.
You'll also play a key role in helping our schools transition to the Australian Curriculum , as we work towards the Department of Education's goal of fully implementing the national curriculum in all Indigenous schools by the end of 2025.
It's an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of education for Indigenous communities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Setting up vibrant, welcoming classrooms and preparing exciting lesson plans Encouraging positive behaviour through the Zones of Regulation framework Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress Collaborating with parents and staff to ensure students are fully supported Implementing tailored teaching strategies across Early Education, Special Education, Arts, and Working on Country programs Graduates are also welcome to apply, and we're eager to support those looking to grow their careers in a meaningful way!

We're looking for teachers who are adaptable, resilient, and truly passionate about making a difference.
To qualify, you'll need: A teaching qualification and NT Teacher Registration (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in primary or secondary education, ideally in remote communities NT Working With Children Clearance (Ochre Card) Full COVID-19 vaccination Bonus points if you have: Early Childhood Education (ECT) certification Special Education experience Familiarity with Explicit Instruction 4 WD driving experience and a manual driver's licence If you love a challenge and thrive in dynamic environments, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Earn a competitive salary ranging from $82,183 to $117,863 annually, complemented by a host of outstanding perks, including: Relocation Allowance : $1,500 provided Salary Packaging up to $15,000 Remote Allowance : Up to $10,000 per annum (varies by location and headcount) Remote Retention Payment: Paid if employed for 12 months.
Annual Service Recognition Allowance: For continued service.
Superannuation : 11.5% contribution Complimentary Accommodation : Fully furnished, rent-free housing with all utilities covered Annual Leave : 6 weeks Work Vehicles: Vehicles provided for work-related travel, with an option for college-provided vehicles for work trips.
