We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our organisation as the Head of Strategy and Architecture. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and be instrumental in shaping the technology landscape of TMBL. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between complex technical language and straightforward, actionable insights that resonate across the organisation. By translating intricate technical concepts into clear, relatable terms, you will enable effective communication among diverse stakeholders, ensuring that everyone understands the implications of technology on our strategic objectives.
As the Head of Strategy and Architecture, you will lead the transition of our technical functions into a business outcomes-focused team. This involves not only facilitating alignment between technology initiatives and business goals but also fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will work closely with Information Services and other technology teams to support the formulation and execution of our strategic vision. By engaging with executive management and building strong relationships throughout the organisation, you will orchestrate the delivery of essential business outcomes, ensuring that our technology roadmap aligns seamlessly with our overarching business strategy.
Responsibilities Facilitate alignment between business and IT, ensuring a cohesive approach across the organization. Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including Information Services and Technology teams, as well as executive management. Analyze trends and disruptions to assess their impact on business outcomes and drive strategic initiatives. Chair the Enterprise Architecture Council to ensure adherence to architectural governance. Oversee the Solution Architecture and Integration Architecture functions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and architectural guidelines. Define and maintain best practices for technology selection and solution development. Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of architectural thinking and innovation. About You
You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in enterprise architecture and business strategy. You possess exceptional leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Your experience in managing large-scale IT portfolios and driving organizational change makes you the ideal candidate for this role.
Skills and Experience Master's or bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years in strategic and operations planning, enterprise architecture, or related fields. Experience in at least three disciplines such as business architecture, solution architecture, and application development. Familiarity with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, microservices, and enterprise architecture frameworks (such as ITIL). Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong consulting and stakeholder management abilities; capacity to navigate complex organizational dynamics effectively.
