Teacher - Secondary - The Arts / Health and Physical Education - Quilpie State College Quilpie State College are seeking a HPE/Arts teacher to join their supportive team. This position is permanent full time to start ASAP. Teaching subsidised local accommodation is also available.
Quilpie State College is a rural remote P - 10 school with a team of passionate staff. Our school boasts immaculate grounds, is extremely well resourced, with small class sizes and is deeply tied to a wonderful tight-knit community.
The school aims to provide a learning environment that is responsive and future orientated, through learning programs that equip students for the demands and rigours of a changing world. Our participation in the community and across the district is paramount as we highly value student engagement despite our remote location.
Our teaching facilities include general classrooms, a manual arts room, resource centre, science/art and home economics rooms. In 2010 all school buildings were fully air-conditioned through the Cooler Schools Program.
