Due to continued growth, and with the absolute aim of delivering individual support to our students, we require a Secondary Special Education Teacher (Full time/Permanent) to deliver Arcadia's strategic vision through engaging curriculum, targeted wellbeing outcomes, and learning success through rigour and depth in teaching programs and practices throughout the year levels.

Key Responsibilities / Selection Criteria Proven ability of working with the Australian Curriculum--Secondary Education.
Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum or those who have other intellectual and learning disabilities and mental health concerns.
Proven ability in developing engaging unit and lesson plans and making adjustments for students with disabilities and special needs.
Pastoral care and support of students to develop social and personal skills for independent and successful community living.
Monitor, assess, and report on students' academic progress.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working with disengaged students, students with a disability, or at risk.
Qualifications & Experience Current full registration with Qld College of Teachers (QCT).
Qualifications in Secondary School Teaching and Special Education.
Experience working with disengaged, at-risk students, and a demonstrated ability to successfully engage these students in learning.
Recent graduates with Special Education qualifications are encouraged to apply.
