About the Opportunity Shepparton Christian College is looking for a full-time  Secondary Physical Education Health Teacher  based in  Shepparton, VIC.
This role reports to the Principal and is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Physical Education and Health lessons while supporting students' academic, physical, and spiritual growth.
Key responsibilities for these roles include but are not limited to: Planning and delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential Preparing and developing teaching materials that enhance learning Employing effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment Assessing and reporting on student performance in line with College policy and providing constructive feedback Maintaining consistent communication with students, parents, and staff to support individual learning needs Designing, implementing, and reviewing curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students Contributing to co-curricular programmes and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects Christian values.

Positions to commence Term 1, 2025 About You To be considered, you'll need a  recognised teaching qualification  and  current VIT registration  (or the ability to obtain).
We're looking for a  practising Christian  with a strong faith, a collaborative and teachable approach, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
Additionally, the following skills and experiences will be highly valued: Experience with lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management Evidence of recent professional development activities Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment Commitment to the College's mission, vision, and faith-based values Willingness to instil Christian values through the curriculum As our ideal candidate, you will be a passionate Christian educator, committed to partnering with families and churches to offer Christ-centred education and inspire students through the integration of faith and learning.

About the Benefits Compensation for this role is based on skills and experience, with an annual salary range between  $80,751 and $119,786  plus superannuation.
