Job Description The Role Peninsula Grammar School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary Mathematics department. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to our students.
This is a Full-time position commencing Term 1 of the 2025 academic year with the potential for a pastoral responsibilities position.  Assess students and create tailored learning plans; use ongoing assessments to support learningPlan and deliver engaging lessons; contribute to curriculum and resource developmentTrack progress, give feedback, and provide extra support; submit reports on timeCreate an inclusive, supportive classroom; set high expectations for participationImprove teaching methods using feedback and data; engage in professional development and teamworkWe welcome all candidates, ideally with experience in VCE and Senior Maths, who possess excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for inspiring young minds. Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level (experience in VCE and Senior Maths will be advantageous)Demonstrated ability to engage students with a lively, adaptive and effective learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral care responsibilitiesAll positions at Peninsula Grammar require: Current VITFirst-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualificationsChild Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)How to Apply Submit your current resume (with two professional referees) and a cover letter.
