Salary: Teacher, $82,317 - $119,246 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a 36 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Located in the Central Kimberley Region between Broome and Kununurra, most students come from the town of Halls Creek and the communities of Mardiwa Loop and Nicholson Block.
Students also commute from several family communities within the Halls Creek area, such as Koongie Park Station (20 km) and Lamboo Station (40 km).

Halls Creek DHS has an enrolment of approximately 320 students across the Kindergarten to Year 12 campus, with a 98% Aboriginal enrolment.
Located in the beautiful East Kimberley Region, we are part of the Kimberley Schools Project, and are committed to attracting, recruiting, and coaching teachers to master explicit teaching pedagogy.
The Location and Community Schools in the Remote Teaching Service are located in some of the most isolated parts of the state.
They may be in community settings or small towns, and the majority of students are from local Aboriginal families.
They deliver flexible and innovative education programs to ensure students in remote areas have access to high quality learning programs.

The successful applicant will ideally have a strong secondary teaching background.

The successful applicant will ideally possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school's values, ethos, and priorities across the school community.
You will work collaboratively with your colleagues and build positive relationships with your students.
