Advertised Vacancy Number: SS / TCH851551 We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.
Initially our focus will be on Physical Education and Health, School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) and Science, however other secondary and specialist positions are likely to become available.
Laverton School is made up of three campuses (Laverton, Mulga Queen and Cosmo Newberry) and you may be required to teach across all three campuses if in a specialist role.

The Ideal Teacher We are seeking Teachers with the ability to work with a range of students. We are a K-12 school with mixed mode delivery in high school (combination of face-to-face and SIDE) and have face to face classes in the primary sector. Suitable applicants will ideally possess the capacity to provide a learning environment that is caring, engaging and differentiated to cater for a range of learning needs.
You will ideally have an understanding of the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework to provide a culturally responsive classroom environment. We seek teachers who have effective classroom management and instructional skills to engage students successfully.
