Kooringal High School has an enrolment of approximately 890 students including 10% Aboriginal students. Kooringal High School is located in Wagga Wagga. The school is partially selective with up to 150 students who have gained enrolment through the Selective High School Placement processes. The school supports a wide range of curriculum offerings for students including a trade training centre and a purpose-built performing arts venue. Students are supported by a committed staff. The school has strong community ties and is supported by a proactive and engaged Parents and Citizens Association.

Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Science (7-10), Physics (11-12) and Biology (11-12).
The capacity to design and deliver innovative, differentiated, and inclusive programs for a diverse range of student learning needs.
Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative faculty team member with effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, other staff and parents.
Capacity to improve social, emotional and academic outcomes for students through extracurricular opportunities and commitment to whole school priorities.
Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education policies.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
