School Address : PO Box 500 Northam WA 6401Position DetailsYears 7-12 Onsite Relief Teacher – Full-time (Terms 2, 3 & 4), Fixed TermThe School is seeking a full-time, fixed term, internal relief teacher on our Secondary Campus with the ability to cover all subjects.
The position commences in Term 2 to cover Long Service Leave throughout the remainder of the 2025 school year.
An earlier commencement date can be negotiated.Situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 50 mins from Midland CBD, St Joseph's School is a Catholic coeducational K-12 School with approximately 780 students on two campuses.Selection CriteriaSpecial skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:A Secondary Teacher with the ability to teach across all subject areas.Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.Be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills.Possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to integrate digital technology into their teaching practices.Be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team.Understand the importance of feedback to parents and students.Show initiative and participate fully in school activities.Be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator.Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills.Qualifications RequiredAccreditation requirements as specified by CEWA Ltd.Relevant 4 year tertiary qualifications.Application DetailsApplicants must submit the School's Application Form and covering letter to the Principal.
