Morawa District High School (DHS) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Primary School Teacher to join their friendly team in a highly supportive, rural community.
Morawa DHS is a high performing Independent Public School receiving an exceptional Public School Review with a 5 year return in 2023, providing a strong, sustainable education from Kindergarten to Year 12. This allows students to live and learn in a safe rural setting, with a stimulating and differentiated learning environment, encouraging all our students to be fully engaged and motivated to excel. The RoleThe successful applicant would work in an environment characterised by whole school connected practice, a strong commitment to High Impact Teaching [DOE Quality Teaching Strategy], professional growth and collaborative team structures. The successful applicant will ideally provide engaging, relevant and meaningful teaching and learning programs to students.
Understanding and utilising Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and effective Classroom Management Knowledge and Skills (CMS), and Instructional Strategies in their approach to teaching and learning is highly regarded. The successful applicant should ideally have an understanding of appropriate assessment to utilise and be able to use data to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching programs, set targets and plan for differentiated learning opportunities for all students in their class. To be successful for this role, you will ideally possess a high level of interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff members and implement whole school approaches within the school's business and operational plans.
