This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanencyMenzies Community School is situated 130kms north of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and is a highly supportive, welcoming and inclusive school.
The current school population of 21 includes not only students from Menzies township but also students who travel by bus each day from Morapoi Station.Small class sizes allow us to implement our Scaling Up for Success (SUPS) focus on Literacy and Numeracy with whole school low variance explicit instructional methods.

Strong collegiate networks between the northern schools offer opportunities for friendship and collegial experiences.The school currently has two primary classes one of which is a dedicated Early Childhood centre (K-2), Years (3-6), as well as a high school room (7-12) in which supervision is provided for students who are enrolled in subjects through the School of Isolated and Distance Education.
Our students learn Key Word Signs, Auslan and Wangkatja languages.

Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
