We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.Established in 1869, Vasse Primary School has a long and proud history, now accommodating approximately 760 students.
The school has strong links with the Vasse and wider community and is well regarded by families.
The current Business Plan highlights the three priorities of Relationships (people), Belonging (place) and Learning (pedagogy).Vasse Primary School has a strong reputation in the delivery of Walker Learning and Inquiry.
A current priority is the articulation of clear instructional frameworks in these areas and explicit teaching.
The Teaching for Impact and Early Years Learning Framework statements are central to the school's direction in these pedagogies.The school's pastoral care programs and practices are also a significant feature of the school.
The school teaches emotional intelligence using the RULER program.
Friendology develops students' skills and capacity to establish and maintain quality relationships.
Along with these programs and being a Positive Behaviour Support school, the explicit teaching of social skills and expected behaviours is a core part of Vasse Primary School's teaching and learning program.
