This is an exciting opportunity to provide students showing early signs of disengagement, or who are not thriving in their mainstream classes with tailored, high-quality teaching, in a bespoke, inclusive and innovative learning environment.
Our FlexiSpace Lead will ideally be:
an experienced teacher with expertise in, or knowledge of inclusive practice; or a teacher who is committed to rapidly developing their skills and knowledge of inclusive practice;committed to ensuring students achieve quality educational outcomes by providing uninterrupted access to the curriculum; and high-impact teaching;committed to differentiating teaching practice and educational program delivery to meet student needs;committed to using and sharing inclusive teaching practices with all staff;committed to working with parents/carers, internal support staff and external agencies to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and to support our school's journey to embed inclusive teaching practice.
Applicants for these positions must possess: A relevant teaching qualification.Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
