Teacher - Primary - Act For Kids - Vincent State SchoolACT for Kids, based at James Cook University in Townsville, is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher for a specialist role supporting our program for children impacted by trauma. This opportunity will involve providing intervention services directly in schools across the localised Townsville area, particularly focusing on students who have been affected by abuse and/or neglect. This role is designed to complement the ACT for Kids Therapy Service and supports a multi-disciplinary approach aimed at improving the outcomes and well-being of children who have experienced trauma. The role will require frequent travel across the Townsville region and may involve outreach to more remote schools in the area.
Your role will be pivotal in identifying students affected by trauma at home and providing targeted support in a school setting.
