HillSide Christian College is seeking applications for a full-time Primary School teacher commencing in 2025. The role is initially for two years with a possible ongoing contract, subsequent to the initial term. The College is seeking the best overall candidate and will select the teacher profile which best suits the needs of the school. Applicants should, therefore, indicate year levels they could successfully teach in a primary school setting.
The successful applicant will be a practising evangelical Christian, who is able to demonstrate and work within the College's Christian framework. The position employment contract is FIXED term. Any appointment to the position will be dependent upon the successful applicant signing the College's Code of Conduct, including Statement of Faith, and employment contract. New graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.

Fixed Term: January 2025 to December 2026, with possible ongoing contract from 2027
Purpose: Vacant position
Role Expectations: Teaching primary school within the year levels 1 to 6. Applicants are requested to indicate specific year levels they could successfully teach.
Salary: HillSide Teacher Pay Scale (negotiable on qualifications and experience)

The applicant should be a teacher of quality with high-level skills, with a very good ability and willingness to engage and work in a Christian team setting.

Cover letter outlining suitability for the role (maximum two pages); The applicant's current CV outlining qualifications, church membership, professional referees, contact details, and career history; A written reference from a Pastor/Elder or the contact details of a Pastor/Elder who may be contacted for a verbal reference in regard to the applicant's Christian faith, character and practice; The following will need to be provided when requested: Birth certificate or Passport, or Visa Grant or VEVO document as relevant, demonstrating Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or rights to work in Australia; Working With Children Check (WWCC); A current TRBWA registration; Photographic identification; Copy of all Qualifications; Any other requested compliance requirements.
