Part-time 22.8 hours per week, On-going positionWarrnambool Campus$78,564 - 111,391 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuationThe Department of Health and Community Services is looking for a capable and enthusiastic teacher who is prepared to deliver training to learners and can develop resources and assessment tools to support teaching delivery on campus and in the workplace around the South West region. This role involves some travel and the ability to work in or with a variety of aged care, home care and/or disability support organisations and to develop and maintain relationships with key local and regional industry and government bodies.
Personal Support teachers are expected to work effectively as members of a team and to be involved in course and program coordination activities which support the effective operation of the teaching centre and the achievement of learning outcomes for students. Any additional teaching requirements will depend on qualifications and expertise.
