Division: Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Salary: Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021) This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.

Ocean Reef SHS is seeking a Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher who specialises in Outdoor Education to join their team.
The successful applicant will be a passionate and dedicated educator who is highly motivated to work in a collaborative team environment.
You will provide students with purposeful and engaging learning experiences to develop their skills, knowledge, and understandings related to HPE, supported by a variety of approaches to learning.
Experience teaching Outdoor Education in a Senior Secondary context is essential.
The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship focused, enthusiastic, innovative, and motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
As part of a dedicated team, you will be required to develop, review, and deliver the HPE curriculum.
You should engage in ongoing self-reflection and assess the effectiveness of your professional practice to create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.
The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You will be innovative, knowledgeable, and display well-developed instructional and curriculum expertise.
You should have high expectations, display a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies, and have the demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
