Full Time, Fixed Term (1 Year Parental Leave Replacement)Commencing Term 1, 2025Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking a knowledgeable, innovative, and engaging educator to join the collaborative team in our Humanities Faculty as a Teacher of Humanities. This role will be required to teach a variety of Humanities subjects with a particular focus on History. All Humanities candidates will be considered; however, candidates who bring experience in History teaching is desirable. Additional teaching discipline in English will be highly regarded, however, not essential.The successful candidate will bring teaching and subject matter expertise and the demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students' passion for learning. We value candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative disposition who prioritise the relationships they build with their students and colleagues. The ability to maintain a positive and encouraging approach that is congruent with the values of the School is essential.Candidates should be excellent and innovative classroom practitioners with a capacity to provide technology enriched learning experiences.
