TAFE NSW: A career of life-changing impact Teacher of Fitting & Machining - Paid to Learn Campus Locations: Muswellbrook, Newcastle and Wollongbar 2 x Permanent Full-Time 1 x Permanent Part-Time (0.5 FTE - 17.5 hours per week) Package Range: $104,403 - $123,816. Package includes salary ($92,396-$109,576) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading (part time: paid pro rata). About the role We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of fitting and machining students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:

Essential Requirements: Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade, or equivalent. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training or a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course. Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry. Highly Regarded: Hold a Certificate IV in Engineering. Qualifications and experience in: Pneumatics and Hydraulics CNC Machining Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
