Domremy College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Teacher of Diverse Learning for 2025. This is a temporary, 0.7 FTE position. The working schedule will be confirmed with the successful applicant.
About the role:
This role has great diversity and challenge involving the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of diverse learning needs. The position requires a teacher who has a passion for working collaboratively. As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition.

The successful applicant will:
demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school
be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students
be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills
highly skilled in interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents
use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students
be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning.
have highly effective administrative and organisational skills.
You will have attained:
a tertiary qualification in Education
eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead .

Domremy College is a Catholic Secondary College for girls from Years 7-12. It was established by the Presentation Sisters in 1911 and is named after the birthplace of St Joan of Arc, patroness of the Haberfield Parish.
