Teacher of Carpentry (Aboriginal Targeted) - Paid to Learn Inverell Campus 1 x Permanent Full-Time Package Range: $104,403 - $123,816.

About the role We are seeking a world-class educator to inspire the next generation of Carpentry students by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Inverell Campus, with travel to Moree.
In this role, you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
Proudly teach fundamental carpentry, joinery, and project management skills.
Lead students through a range of indoor and outdoor projects including roofing, walls, and floors.
Essential Requirements: Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills, and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training OR a willingness to undertake our full-time 14-week 'Paid to Learn' course. Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience relevant to your industry. Highly Regarded: Certificate IV in Building or desire and willingness to obtain. This is a targeted recruitment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in accordance with Rule 26 of the Government Sector Employment (General) Rules 2014 - Employment of eligible persons.
Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Paid to Learn: For candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.
Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
