Division: Independent Public School - Wheatbelt Education Region Salary: Teacher, $82,317 - $119,246 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021) This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency Located in a rural community in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, York District High School (DHS) facilitates seamless transitions through our phases of learning to develop children holistically to become life-long learners. We are seeking a passionate and collaborative teacher who excels in engaging and motivating students through creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for Years 7 to 10. The successful applicant should possess strong professional knowledge and a repertoire of effective instructional practices including explicit instruction, to deliver an enriching and relevant secondary Mathematics curriculum. The ability to differentiate the curriculum to support individual student progress is important, as is the capacity to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers and the network of external stakeholders and partners who support the school. You should support major school directions and be committed to whole school approaches and initiatives including our High Impact Teaching and Positive Behaviour Support. The successful applicant will ideally have the capacity to use a range of data to inform planning and assessments, provide explicit feedback and monitor student performance.
