Salary: Teacher, $82,317 - $119,246 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)

Lakeland Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School located in South Lake. The school is close to the city and situated near the freeway and Cockburn Central train and bus station. The school caters for all students with a comprehensive range of courses and pathways to best meet the needs and interests of students. Our mathematics learning area is collegiate and supportive. We run classes from Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) to lower school and have a high expectation of students achieving their best.
We are seeking like-minded teachers who have a passion for teaching secondary students and a desire to impart their skills and knowledge across our school.
The successful applicant will ideally be active contributors to the mathematics learning area and be reflective in their practice to support professional growth and improve educational outcomes for students. You will ideally possess a sound understanding of the mathematics curriculum and courses. Knowledge and the ability to use high impact learning strategies to successfully engage students in Mathematics will be highly regarded.
The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element to this position. You should build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students and utilise evidence-based decision-making skills within your practice.
