Key Selection Criteria 
The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:
commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith
have a capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools
qualified to teach Mathematics
be able to demonstrate differentiated pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning
demonstrated understanding of effective classroom management techniques to promote a supportive and positive learning environment
capacity to plan and deliver engaging lessons that integrate evidence-based practices to maximise learning outcomes for students with diverse learning needs
be willing to undertake continued professional development and faith formation
support the College's scholastic initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan
be prepared to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues.

You will have attained:
a tertiary qualification in Education
eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).

remuneration package valued at up to $136,142. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100. Salary calculated on averaged conditions. Work during school-term only. Not required to work in school holidays

The cover letter will need to reflect the key selection criteria for the position. All teachers at Marist College Eastwood are expected to demonstrate high order ICT skills, and a willingness for further skill development, for teaching and administration purposes.
