The OpportunityEmmaus is seeking a skilled and passionate Teacher Librarian to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.
The Library Technician works collaboratively with other school staff to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.

Supervising students in non-teaching periodsReceiving, issuing, distributing, stock-taking and safeguarding of teaching resources, goods, supplies, materials and equipment, other than dangerous goodsProviding technical assistance in the operation of a library, laboratory or technology centreOversee all areas of the Library including managing the budget and resourcingStudy programs and supervisionMonitor attendance data and follow up on attendance with students and familiesPromote the importance of attendance at schoolQualificationsWorking with Children Check clearance (essential)
Exceptional communication skillsDetailed knowledge of complex office proceduresDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a teamDemonstrated capacity to exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlinesAbility to interact with school staff, students and members of the school communityAbility to communicate with new prospective families to promote enrolment to the CollegePrior knowledge of the Compass Student Portal would be seen as an advantage.Commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the College
