St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and engaging support teacher to join our school in 2025. The Support Program runs four days each week. Applicants should have the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will be required to:
support the Catholic ethos of the schoolhave knowledge of and/or experience in an intervention program, e.g., Reading Recovery, Levelled Literacy Intervention/numeracy interventionhave expertise in contemporary learning and teaching practices, data literacy, assessment, and data analysisbe willing to work with and/or alongside leaders and teachers to respond to student needshave the ability to work independently and show initiativebuild and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues, and parentshave highly effective organisational and communication skillsbe committed to professional learning and ongoing improvementdesign and implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child.St. Scholastica's is committed to the safety, well-being, and protection of all children in our care.
