Teacher Language - Murrumbidgee Regional High School - Wade Total remuneration package: Remuneration package valued at up to $146,635.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.
Position Information Murrumbidgee Regional High School - Wade is a secondary school situated in Griffith with an anticipated enrolment for 2025 of 486 students including 85 students with an Aboriginal Heritage and 103 students with a non-English speaking background. The school continues to share linkages with Murrumbidgee High School – Griffith for the senior curriculum and is developing school procedures to support student learning. The school includes an Aboriginal Learning Engagement Centre and a Clontarf Academy to support the educational provision of Aboriginal boys. Positioned in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, Griffith offers access to diverse industries and community facilities.
Selection Criteria Approval to teach Italian (7-12) Effective classroom management skills which promote an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Capacity to work collaboratively within a faculty to develop quality, differentiated teaching and learning programs. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff and parents/carers. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
