This is an amazing opportunity take on a new challenge as a Key Worker and extend your clinical practice to support children and families reach their full potential.Allied health and Education sector professionals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply including, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Teachers and Child Health Nurses.About the role: The Key Worker model is the recommended best practice Early Childhood Intervention model identified by the NDIS to support children with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families.Working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, the Key Worker is the primary point of contact for families.This personalised approach ensures that children and families receive the necessary information to gain access to the appropriate supports to meet their specific needs and goals.Key Responsibilities: Working alongside children and families within the multi-disciplinary team, to provide coordinated client and family centred services, to assist them to achieve their NDIS and life goals Be a key point of contact for families, ensuring clients' needs and wishes are represented throughout their therapy journey Provide 1:1 and group interventions in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team, across a range of daily environments Completing necessary NDIS documentation to support ongoing funding for clients Being an essential member of the therapy team, reinforcing culturally safe and client centred practices to ensure the best outcomes for clients and their families What you need to join: Be eligible to be registered to relevant state board Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline Must be registered to relevant state board prior to commencement of role Must have exposure to working with children that have experienced a developmental concern or are living with a disability Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment Essential to have NDIS experience Experience in working with children and/or disability sector and confidence in your role with children and their parents Compliance – Relevant professional body registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Training, Driver's License & Vehicle What we offer you: A fun and welcoming working environment with a great team culture!Relocation assistance for those not local to the area Generous salary Career progression and professional development opportunities tailored to your individual goals Rostered CPD hours and annual professional development allowance Flexible leave program, with the opportunity to purchase additional leave Paid parental leave Discounted health insurance Access to our Mental Health and Wellbeing Program Discounts and savings at retailers across Australia Apply now: Don't miss your chance to be part of a growing organisation committed to making a real difference to the everyday lives of children and their families –  Apply Now.For a confidential discussion about the role, please contact Ayesha on 0461 101 104.
