The successful applicant will have a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the department's Quality Teaching Strategy and the College Instructional Framework.We are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and are seeking a like-minded teacher with a passion for teaching secondary students and a sound understanding of the West Australian HPE curriculum.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in high impact instruction and a desire to build collective efficacy in the teaching team to successfully engage students in HPE.
A strong interest and experience in mentoring graduate teachers will be highly valued.
Ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Health Studies is highly desirable.The successful applicant should be an active contributor to the HPE Learning Area and reflective in their practice to support professional growth and improvement of educational outcomes for all students.
The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element in this role.
