Position Overview:
As a Special Education Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive learning atmosphere for students with diverse needs. You will work collaboratively with fellow educators, parents, and specialists to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring that each student reaches their fullest potential. Your commitment to fostering a love for learning while promoting Christian values will be essential in guiding our students on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
Provide differentiated instruction and create engaging learning experiences for students with varying abilities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, empathy, and personal growth.
Integrate Christian values into the curriculum and daily activities.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid QCT (or ability to obtain).
Experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to support the Christian values of the college.
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship is not available)
