The Opportunity As Teacher in Charge of Languages , you will play a crucial role in driving excellence in language education, working under the guidance of the Head of English and Languages . You will have the opportunity to:
Lead the development and implementation of language programs and assessments aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum . Provide support and mentorship to teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Foster student engagement through creative, immersive language activities such as competitions , excursions , and cultural events . Contribute to the College's co-curricular programs by integrating language learning with broader student experiences. A Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialisation in Languages (French or Indonesian) or a relevant degree with a Graduate Diploma or Master of Teaching . Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) . A strong understanding of curriculum planning and language instruction . A passion for working collaboratively with colleagues to support student success . Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of respect and service . Administration Load : 0.1 FTE 5-year fixed-term appointment , with a one-year probation and potential for renewal. The role also requires a contribution to co-curricular activities within the College.
