Y Schools Bundaberg Campus are seeking a passionate Teacher – In Charge on a Permanent, Full-Time basis based in Bundaberg, Queensland.
About the role?
The position of the Teacher – In Charge will support the Head of School and Head of Campus in their school leadership. To achieve educational wellbeing and vocational targets/objectives. This position can effectively assume the normal operational leadership duties and responsibilities of a Campus.
What will my time look like?
Maintain a working knowledge of policies and procedures Instructional leadership of teacher professional development Run briefs, debriefs, parades, staff training, manage staff and volunteers, sign risk assessments Oversee student engagement and case management processes Take charge of targeted school programs/projects as agreed to by the Head of School/Campus and Deputy Principal Am I a good match?
Current Registered Teaching Qualifications and relevant experience Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications Ability to apply appropriate knowledge to plan and prepare teaching and learning programs Collaborate constructively and positively with all school staff, across both campuses, in the development and evaluation of curriculum Participate in the process led by the Head of School to develop your Professional Development plan. This plan is required to be updated every 12 months Facilitate and participate in training activities What's in it for you?
