This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 The Role As a member of our team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student. As a Humanities and Social Sciences teacher, you will deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential. You will ideally possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills which will be used to develop and promote the school's values, ethos and priorities across the school community. About the School Narrogin Senior High School (SHS) is a genuine comprehensive educational institution on a whole school improvement journey encompassing Fogarty EDvance. Temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,500 11.5 percent employer contributions to superannuation 12 weeks' vacation leave (school holidays) Subsidised accommodation where applicable Free relocation Teachers and School Administrators employed at Narrogin Senior High School in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2,500 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment. Mobility appointments for permanent, metropolitan and south west teachers Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
