The Department has a number of scholarships and grants to support pre-service teachers to complete their degree, as well as qualified teachers engaged by the Department who wish to engage in further studies to grow their skillset and capability.

Supports available for students and/or employees of the Department:
Teach Queensland Prac Placement Grant Beginning Teacher Support Payment Supported Pathways into Teaching Permanent Employees
Teacher transfers or relieving engagements can be arranged with the support of your line manager and/or Principal.
These engagements can be coordinated with the assistance of your school and Human Resource Business Partner.
