Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Alkimos College is seeking to appoint a dedicated, highly competent, and enthusiastic English teacher, with excellent interpersonal skills. Located in the northern suburb of Alkimos with sweeping ocean views, Alkimos College opened in 2020 with our foundation Year 7 cohort, providing local intake area students with access to an exceptional secondary education in world-class learning facilities. Each year we have added an additional cohort and will reach our full complement of Year 7-12 in 2025.
The successful applicant will ideally be a positive and passionate teacher of English, with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. The successful applicant should use their professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant English curriculum, from the early and middle adolescent phases of learning, through to senior secondary courses. You will ideally be an enthusiastic adopter of a college-wide instructional framework based on explicit teaching and instructional skills, strategies, and tactics.
