The English and Humanities curriculum is essential to providing students the opportunity to learn and better understand the influence of new ideas in society, politics and everyday life. 
The Humanities stream encompasses Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, Accounting, Ancient History, Business, Economics, Geography, Legal Studies, Modern History, Philosophy and Reason, Study of Religion, Social & Community Studies, and Tourism.

Supports available for students and/or employees of the Department:
Teach Queensland Prac Placement Grant Beginning Teacher Support Payment  Supported Pathways into Teaching Permanent Employees Teacher Transfers or Relieving engagements can be arranged with the support of your line manager and/or Principal. These engagements can be coordinated with the assistance of your school and Human Resource Business Partner.
