Are you an experienced industry professional ready to shape the next generation of engineers?
We're seeking a seasoned expert to lead the delivery and assessment of our Certificate II & Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaker).
In this pivotal role, you will:
Develop Cutting-Edge Materials: Create and update course content that meets current industry standards and benchmarks.Lead Engaging Training: Conduct dynamic training sessions that captivate and educate students.Assess and Oversee: Evaluate student progress, manage administrative tasks including assessment marking, attendance tracking, employer communications, and results processing.Mentor Future Professionals: Use your industry knowledge and hands-on experience to guide and support students, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in the engineering field.At TAFE Gippsland, we're offering a full-time teaching position with a dynamic and flexible work arrangement.
As a valued member of our team, you'll spend up to 30 hours per week at our work location for up to 42 weeks a year, with the remaining hours adjustable to be worked from home or another location of your choice.
Mandatory requirements: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent (Desirable) or willingness to obtain if successful.Minimum Certificate III in Engineering Metal Fabrication (Boilermaker) or equivalent and/or Certificate IV Engineering (would be advantageous)Welding Certification preferredCurrent Victorian Working with Children ClearanceCurrent Police check (no older than 12 months)Current Driver's LicenceMinimum 5 years' experience, post apprenticeshipHow to apply: To apply for this position please visit the TAFE Gippsland website.
