Through your work, you'll play a crucial role in helping students from diverse backgrounds advance their careers upon completing their training with TAFE Queensland.To become a TAFE Queensland teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:TAE40122 or TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor;TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor;Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.Additional Mandatory RequirementsPossession of relevant formal vocational qualifications (Certificate III minimum, Australian equivalent):MEM40119 – Certificate IV in Engineering; and/orMEM50119 – Diploma of Engineering – Advanced Tradeandability to demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills and experience.**If you do not possess any of the above training and assessment credentials, we encourage you to express your interest as we can offer a pathway to attaining a qualification on the job.Casual$108.10 gross per hour (TAFE Queensland Educators' Certified Agreement 2023)Teacher$88,547.03 - $100,232.42 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators' Certified Agreement 2023)12.75% superannuation17.5% leave loading4 weeks Recreation Leave (accrued annually)5 weeks Non-Attendance Time (NAT) programmed annually for preparationAccess to paid professional developmentPaid overtime arrangements may be available as per operational requirements**Competitive Remuneration Allowance could be used to bring your remuneration up to/or equivalent to Industry.
