Serving the Gladstone Community for over 50 years.Birralee Community Kindergarten is committed to providing high quality early childhood education and care services for families with young children and advocacy for young children and their families.Birralee Community Kindergarten is nestled in bushland and distinguishes itself by offering a 'Bush Kindy' program during terms 2, 3, and 4 each year. You will be trained in the necessary skills to facilitate a 'Bush Kindy' program.Tasks & responsibilitiesComplying with National Quality Standards (NQS)
and adhering to the services' policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of care and education for our children.Actively contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan,
ensuring continuous improvement in our educational offerings and environments.Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for our staff, children, and families,

utilising relevant curriculum guidelines, to provide an enriching and child-centred learning experience.Qualifications & experienceBachelor of Education Early Childhood or equivalentMinimum three-year qualificationSenior first aid certificate, including resuscitation certificate and training in the emergency management of anaphylaxis and asthmaCurrent Blue CardCommitment to quality outputs and competent in information technologyGeneral knowledge and/or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of relevant legislationAbout the roleWe are in search of a dedicated and self-driven educator to become a part of our team, supporting kindergarten-aged children. This position entails a commitment of up to 38 hours every two weeks, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays, with the possibility of fortnightly shift on Wednesdays. We highly value the notion of long-term commitment to this role, as we are looking for an individual who can provide stability and ongoing support to our families for many years to come.The ideal candidate should be prepared to commence their role on January 20, 2025, to facilitate a smooth transition for staff and children.
