With a focus on practical, real-life learning, we work hard to ensure the training our learners receive is industry relevant and we provide real industry skills that are highly valued by employers.TasTAFE aspires to be a place of innovation, creating new ways of training, finding solutions, delivering differently, and increasing access for all.The RoleBased at our Alanvale campus in Launceston, you will be the driving force behind training the next generation of heavy vehicle mechanics to provide the best industry training on offer.On any given day, your duties will include:Drive, design and deliver training that ignites passion in future automotive champions.Shift into excellence, keeping training aligned to learner and industry needs.Fuel student success, inspire and support them from campus to career.Utilise your admin and digital skills to keep records accurate and updated.What you bring:Certificate III in Automotive (Heavy Vehicle) and current industry experience is essential.Experience as a mentor or trainer is desirable.Ability to turn complex concepts into practical, hands-on lessons.Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues and industry stakeholders.A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.TasTAFE empowers educators and practitioners at all levels.
