The school is involved in two building upgrade projects, with portable buildings being replaced through a VSBA masterplan over the next 3-4 years. The design of the permanent buildings is open plan, focusing on collaborative teaching and learning.
Alamanda is a 1-to-1 iPad/MacBook school, using technology to engage students and meet their individual needs. Staff must engage in the study of "Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works" to support this strategy. The primary school is an accredited International Baccalaureate primary school.

RoleFull-time attendance from 8.30am to 3.00pm, 5 days per week, is required, along with school holiday attendance for up to 6 days.
An education support class position will perform tasks in accordance with guidelines and school policy under supervision. This may include coordination of other education support staff.
