Bellevue Park State School has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive and empathetic individual with Teacher Aide and disability support experience to join their dynamic Teacher Aide team.
We are seeking a temporary full-time Teacher Aide, for a period of 6 months unless otherwise determined, to support students with disabilities in a mainstream educational setting.

About the RoleSupport students with disabilities to engage with the curriculum in a mainstream classroom across all year levels Prep to Yr 6.Engage with students who have complex behaviour needs, utilising Trauma Informed Practices.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assisting and supporting students with special needs in the classroom, at specialist subject lessons and during break times.Providing support to students with complex behaviour needs.Supporting teachers with organising teaching and learning resource requirements.About YouStrong communicator, displays respect and empathy to both students and their families.Disability support work experience, particularly for primary-aged students, will be highly regarded.Experience in supporting students with complex behaviours.How to ApplyPlease attach a brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (referees should have an understanding of your relevant previous work history).A 1-page written statement in response to the attached role description.We welcome all applicants to share any support needed to ensure our recruitment process is inclusive.
