Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager within the meat industry to run the day-to-day operations and production to meet their customer orders.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role involves:
Staff supervision, mentoring, training, and developing the team within the area of production. Ensuring employees adhere to company policies. Providing outstanding customer service to customers. Liaising closely with admin, sales, and operational staff to ensure customer needs are met. Stock control and rotation. Ensuring cutting lines and specifications meet customer, MSA, and Ausmeat requirements at all times and implementing appropriate action where necessary. Meeting production timelines as required. Ensuring HACCP auditing requirements are met. Establishing, continually testing, updating, and meeting the established product yield specification on all finished products. Ensuring the production plan is accurate and well-developed on a daily and weekly basis. To be successful in this role, you will have a proven positive leadership approach, Production Management experience, and be a qualified Butcher. You will enjoy process improvement, have initiative and drive, and excel in liaising with customers. No problem will be too big or small to resolve!
